WoolOvers Wears… Christmas special

Here at WoolOvers HQ in Sussex (United Kingdom) we love a good tradition, particularly during the Christmas period. Now feels like the perfect time to continue our “WoolOvers Wears “series in festive style. We’re sticking to the principle of introducing you to our team together with their favorite styles – see previous episodes here or here. But since we’re approaching the end of the year when thoughts turn to our families, we thought we’d pay tribute to those for whom WoolOvers is a true family business! Some of our team have more in common than just an office.

Introducing…

The Twin Sisters

Alex and Georgia share a fabulous smile as well as a birthday. Twins they may be, but they have chosen different career paths – one balancing the books in finance, the other replying to your feedback and questions on social media. Both are super fashionable, but contrasting in their look. Alex loves cashmere and looks great in our Cashmere Nep V Neck Sweater in Pale Pink. Georgia is more laid-back in oversized jumpers and loose fits, she’s perfect in our Cashmere and Merino Chunky V Neck Jumper in Deep Mustard. It’s impossible to pick a winner from these two in terms of style – just ask their proud dad who works in the warehouse!

The Cousins

It’s quite simple, Tilly has THE biggest smile in the whole of Customer Service. Her sheer joie de vivre allays any concerns you (yes ‘you’ our valued customers) may have and unifies her colleagues. Her cousin Kate covers mile upon mile every day, braving the cold to pick your favorite jumper out ready for dispatch. Hardworking and calm, she brings a feminine kindness to the tough world of the warehouse. What do they have in common apart from family ties? They have both chosen our Pure Wool Chunky Fair Isle Sweater to brighten up their wardrobe during the festive season, while still keeping snug. Tilly’s gone for Terracotta and Cream which goes perfectly with her brown glasses and Nordic boots, while Kate prefers the Navy and Red combination, that brings out her blue eyes so well.

Mother and Daughter

Julie does a great job of managing our factory shop here at WoolOvers HQ. Having intimate knowledge of every product, she gives local customers the benefit of her expertise, patience and most of all… her exceptionally good taste. It’s no surprise that her equally pretty and refined daughter Felicity has followed in the footsteps to join her behind the counter. When it comes to style, they both like to be immaculately turned out, without sacrificing on comfort. Julie loves the fir green (‘tis the season !) color of our Lambswool Roll Neck Side Button Sweater. Her daughter adores the modern style of our bestselling Lambswool Chunky Roll Neck Sweater in the same material and lovely Raspberry Marl color. Don’t they just look a picture in this family photo?

Mother and Son

Shelly is the life and soul of WoolOvers with a sense of humor that always keeps Customer Services spirits up. With 8 years’ experience in the business and a career dedicated to serving others, she has turned her natural generosity into her best professional asset. Her son Jake is a chip off the block, also starting out in Customer Services before being promoted to Amazon Coordinator. They really got into the festive spirit while taking a break, Jake in a Lambswool Festive Fair Isle Sweater and Shelly in our famous Cashmere and Merino Button Poncho. They certainly stuck to their mantra of not taking themselves too seriously – we’d all like to be heading to their house this Christmas!
