I bought my usual size and a size larger, since I'm not familiar with Woolovers'
jeans and I am bigger than average on the hips. Both pairs were too snug on the calf which stopped the jeans leg from falling freely. I had to pull the hems down after sitting. They looked and felt too tight and unflattering. I realised after that I shouldn't have ordered tapered leg - I hadn't really noticed. People with wide hips look better in straight cut or bootleg jeans.

The jeans, size 12, fitted well on my hips, and had were slightly fuller in the leg, which was.what I was looking for. Very comfortable.
I had originally ordered size 14 and exchanged for size 12. Really pleased as fitted welll.
