About Wool Overs

We are an independent family business, supplying woollen knitwear now for over 20 years. My wife and I started in this market purely by chance, but it continues to give us tremendous satisfaction. We have always aimed to offer the best styles at the most competitive prices, to a discerning market; which now includes are friends across the Atlantic! And because you’re outside the EU, you benefit from a ‘tax-free’ 17.5% price reduction.

We have developed our business through meeting many of our customers at the various shows we attend across the UK, and are now to proud produce clothing in Cashmere, Merino, Silk & Cotton as well as our beloved Wool! Our range of clothing is very much the creation of our customers feedback (don’t worry – you won’t have to fly here just to leave us feedback; you can do it online).

In association with the British Wool Board, we select many of our yarns from UK flocks so we can keep producing chunky knits made from fine British wool. This means your custom helps support the British rural economy. We’re also helping our Australasian friends, by sourcing our Lambswool and Merino yarns from New Zealand and Australia (we’re truly International now!).
Today there is a greater need to use natural, renewable products. Wool fulfils this need, whilst also providing warm, stylish, and durable garments. We sincerely hope you find what you are looking for on this website, and we provide you with the quality of product and service you expect.
